Réal Vallée honored by Acfas
Acfas (Francophone Association for Knowledge) awarded its Urgel-Archambault prize to Professor Réal Vallée. Created in 1953 and named in honor of Urgel Archambault, founding director of Polytechnique Montréal, the prize honors a researcher who has distinguished himself through the excellence and influence of his work and his actions in the field of physical sciences, mathematics, computer science or engineering.
In this video produced by Acfas, Réal Vallée summarizes his research work and explains the envisaged applications. It also addresses the social role that scientists can play.
