Development of multi-material fibers for the detection of physiological signs
Description
The objective of this multidisciplinary project is the development of a new non-invasive and flexible fiber capable of detecting variations in human vital signs. The multi-material fiber will be manufactured in the fiber-drawing tower at the COPL from a preform composed of a mixture of various materials carefully chosen with the right proportions. The detection of physiological signals is based on the design of an integrated electronic system capable of measuring and transmitting signals in real time to a detection base.
